Bollywood is commonly referred to as Hindustani cinema. Shahrukh Khan, شاہ رخ خان, born 2 November 1965, is a highly acclaimed Indian actor who works in Bollywood films, as well as film producer and television host. He made his film debut with the commercially successful Deewana (1992). Khan's statue is in Madame Tussauds wax museum, London. Khan has been chosen for the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (Order of the Arts and Literature) award of the French government for his exceptional career.
